So we’re beginning to enter an age again where the next generation of consoles are starting to be talked about. Wii2/Project Cafe is already being talked about being revealed by Nintendo at E3. 3Ds is already out with the NGP/PSP2 right on its heels. Also, OnLive, a completely new console, hit the market recently. This brought on a very interesting topic in my mind. What does it take to be competitive in the console market? So, you may or may not know that the Playstation Network (PSN) has been down for close to two weeks now. Reports that over 2.2 million active credit cards have been hijacked and are possibly being used as ransom. Now this sucks and all, and if you’re smart you have already cancelled your debit and credit cards and have gotten them re-issued. Life will move forward and you’re out 5 days without a card and have to change any saved account info. Usually it’s no sweat, just a little time out of your day.
